I needed more horizontal separation between my 2m radio antennas (voice and APRS). So I opted to mount one up front using a Diamond HRKS adhesive mount along with a Diamond NR770HB 1/2-wave antenna. I could have gone with a hood mount. But I wanted to place the antenna somewhere I could not see it while driving. Be careful when applying the mount. The adhesive is REALLY sticky. Once it's placed, it's THERE.
